The product line which Larry the Lizard offers incorporates
high quality glass rattles into the bait and the overall action the soft
plastic bait has. These baits are made with 100% high quality American made
floating soft plastic and are customized with the unique Rattlin system. The
Patent Pending baits also offer unique designs that not only look like the prey
they are emulating, but swim, dig and crawl, just like the real thing, while at
the same time emitting a distress signal.
While the 3 main product offerings today are the 10” Rattlin
Larry the Lizard, the 6” Rattlin Larry the Lizard, and the 4” Rattlin
Frog-N-Craw, Larry the Lizard Custom Baits will bring out another 3 baits in
the Rattlin series with the next year, and 6 more overall by 2014.

Rodney Dennis, Springfield, MO - “This bait has life-like
action and doesn’t tear apart. The 6-inch lizards work great in small rivers.”
Michael Hester, Pontotoc, MS - “The rattle embedded in the
tail seems to trigger bedding fish to bite!”

My brother and I use this Lizard last week and tore the bass
up. From now on, it’s Larry the Lizard.

Fielder Testers Comments:
I would definitely recommend this lure. I’ve fished with
lizards before but none as unique as these.I especially like the rattle in the tail and
its slow falling action. I fished both Texas rig and Carolina and both were
effective with the 6 in lizards. i caught
6 bass on 10 casts all in the 2 to 2.5 lb range in waters that were in
the 40s.
I purchased these very same lures this summer after seeing
them on the club web page. Results were excellent for both large and small
mouth bass as well as large pickerel. I did recommend them to my fishing partners.
They also were pleased with the result.
"The Lizards seem to work. They were sent to me in
December and I live in Northern Ohio and we are waiting for ice to come on
right now. Even though it was December 31 before I could try them I did catch a
bass. So I would have to say they work.”
It's winter time here, pre-ice, so I didn't think I'd get
any bites fishing these lizards at this time because I've never heard of anyone
using this style at this time. Anyway I
tested them out anyway and didn't get any bites popping and dragging in on the
bottom. Then I saw a bass strike at it
as I reeled it in quick so I changed my method to that of a jerk-bait and I
started getting many strikes! Missed all
but two partially due to not having quite the best hook for the rig on these
lizards, but ended up with a pickerel and a big perch...not bad when live bait
caught nothing all day.
With the design and ease of use, this product is good value
for the money.
The lizards worked.
I would recommend this product to other club members. It is
very easy to use, has great action and catches fish.
The quality of the Lizards is better than the other brands I
have been using.
Vary good bait, stands up to the abuse, seems to attract
fish well.
I caught six largemouth bass in a rather cold Michigan lake
in early December--just before ice began to form here. Though the bass were a
bit lethargic, they came hard at the 10" Black & Blue lizard. I got a
couple more on the green pumpkin.
Very good product, action was great, good quality baits.
Good lifelike action. Does not tear apart like cheaper
plastics. The 6" lizards work great in small rivers.
Worked well even in colder water situations.
I do a lot of stripped bass fishing and thought strippers, large bass that should react as do their fresh water cousins. I Rigged Larry the Lizard with 1oz. lead head jig hooks and much to my surprise, wham! three strippers in a row, 25 to 35 lbs. fishing in the Delaware bay. So from now on while I'm soaking a large bunker noggin on my heavy bait rod, I'll be pitching a Larry The Lizard on my lighter spin outfit for those finicky strippers that are passing up my bait offering.
Fished slow for early Spring Bass and Pike gets
results. Tried them right after ice out
on the lake--was the ticket for shallow water.
10" Black Neon seemed to be a hit with the early Pike
while the 6" Motor Oil seemed to be more suited for Bass.
Durability, most baits u buy like this don’t last too long
much less after a fish gets a hold of it, not these bad boys, I put the smack
down on some pretty decent sized bass and this product prevailed every time. It
has the features of a rattle- trap and a worm/lizard combined into one it’s the
best of both worlds in my opinion!
Strong thick material yet supple enough to have
action...pickerel teeth didn't destroy it as I hooked a few and the bait was
still good to go.
The ridges on the lizard make a small rippling in the water.
I think that is what caused more strikes, especially in murky water.
Realistic looking-apparently the bass were fooled!
The overall design is great but the rattles really add to
the lure.
My fishing buddy laughed at me when I first tried using
them, but ended up begging for one to try him- self after seeing the results.
My brother in law wanted them as soon as he saw them. After
using them he is now looking for them
People fishing with also liked the results from product
My fishing buddy took half of them after we finished
fishing.
My fishing partner agrees with me. We will be changing out
the lizards in our boxes.
We are impressed at how well they worked.
